Melanie Harsch
Melanie has always had a passion for helping and supporting children, youth, and adults. Melanie’s areas of focus include anxiety, depression, executive function struggles, ADHD, adoption, and the needs of gifted/2e children. She uses a variety of therapy approaches to fit the needs of the client and feels it’s important to help her clients recognize their strengths and set their own goals.

Her training has included many CBT courses for anxiety and depression, classes in executive function and ADHD, and workshops such as Smart but Scattered: Enhancing Executive Skills, Adoption Competency Mental Health, Understanding the Profoundly Gifted Path, and Effective Use of Gradual Exposure in the Treatment of Anxiety. Melanie also has years of experience offering Coping Cat, an evidence-based cognitive behavioral treatments tailored for children with mild to moderate levels of anxiety.
Melanie is married to a registered psychotherapist. She and her husband have two daughters in university, a chubby gray cat, a very loud black kitty, and fluffy black rescue puppy named Indie. In her spare time Melanie volunteers with a community garden and spends time working with neighborhood clean-up crews for local parks.
